The Underfloor Heating World UM1 Turn Dial Manual Thermostat is designed to control virtually all types of underfloor heating systems from it’s floor sensor. Analog as opposed to digital, it provides instant control of the heating to suit your lifestyle. The UM1 Manual Thermostat, offers an easy-to-use way to control your heating systems floor temperature. The UM1 comes complete with a floor probe and a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
What You Need To Know & The Technical Bits!
A maximum of 16 amps or 3600 watts of heating can be connected to the UM1 Manual thermostat. Larger loads/bigger areas, may require additional switching and/or a relay to be installed. Alternatively, additional thermostats can be installed, with the heating split into zones. Your underfloor heating thermostat should always be powered from a dedicated supply from the main board, with suitable electrical protection (RCD or Spur switches) installed by your electrician.
